why quit?
what kind of reasons do bloggers give to quit or cut back on blogging?
- blogging never produced any job offers or lasting relationships
- blogging is too easy, anybody can do it
- blogging is too hard, can't think of anything to say
- blogging takes too much time
- blogging is too quick, rash statements are made
- blogging takes energy away from other creative endeavors and so they suffer
- blogging makes my neck hurt and my wrists sore
- blogging alienates my family and friends, who are all non-bloggers
- boss commanded me to quit my blog, delete it, or abandon it
- spouse/roommate/parent/boyfriend/girlfriend/best friend/etc. demanded that I quit my blog, delete it, or abandon it
- I'm tired of all the arguing and name-calling that's been going on at this blog
- why continue, when nobody posts comments or cares?
- forgot I even had it, it was late at night when I created it out of curiosity, with no real purpose in mind
